Welcome to the new look of Coming Together to Quilt!
I hope you will like the new look. I've been working on this for a while. First, trying to learn how to create this, and second, figuring out what to include on these pages. I hope this will evolve over time into a great resource that you will enjoy reading regularly! |

Threadology Class
I took the Threadology Class from Superior Threads in St. George, Utah, at the end of September 2010 It was a very interesting class. I learned a lot about thread, needles, & other products they carry. I would recommend this class to any one who is interested in thread, which should be any one that quilts, embroiders, sews, or does any other fiber arts.
About the Area
St. George, Utah is in the southwest corner of Utah approximately 125 miles from Las Vegas, Nevada and just six miles north of the Arizona border. It is close to Zion National Park in southern Utah and within easy driving distance to the north rim of the Grand Canyon in Arizona.
St. George has a population of around 145,000. It retains a small town feel though and the people are friendly. My friend and I found several of the quilt shops that St. George supports. I was amazed the there were at least 8 in St. George and the surrounding area!
